Hyundai Elantra

Elantra exemplifies Hyundai’s emotional “Fluidic Sculpture” design principles. “Fluidic Sculpture” considers the interplay of wind with rigid surfaces to create the illusion of constant motion. Hyundai Elantra is an evolution of the design qualities found in Sonata.

The center stack is dominated by a massive seven-inch touch-screen that hosts controls for navigation, audio and iPod integration. Thanks to XM NavTraffic and NavWeather, buyers can check the status of everything from traffic congestion to stock prices, weather advisories and sports scores. A rear-view camera is also available, though the sedan’s visibility hardly warrants the tech. The Limited trim also brings along a 360-watt, six-speaker stereo system with an external amp should you decide to rock your passengers’ socks straight off their body.

Seating surfaces, both front and rear, are swaddled in a perforated hide with a unique wave pattern, and for the first time in this segment, both front and rear passengers get the joy of heated seats. The thrones are double stitched, though Hyundai skipped the typically eye-catching contrasting thread in favor of a color-matched material.

The 2011 Elantra comes with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine producing 148 horsepower and 131 pound-feet of torque in ULEV guise. A PZEV variant is also available, but it sacrifices three horsepower and one lb-ft compared to its brethren. The engine is mated to either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission.

The Elantra is Hyundai’s most popular model, with sales of more than six million units worldwide since the car’s launch back in 1990.With the next-generation Honda Civic and 2012 Ford Focus on the horizon, the 2011 Hyundai Elantra will be facing some stout competition in the future, but right now, the little sedan has the bones to be king of the compact roost. Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermes

The Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermès associates Bugatti's technical performance with the expertise of Hermès and its craftsmen. In partnership with Hermès, designer Gabriele Pezzini has married the distinctive Hermès style to the legendary Bugatti Veyron 16.4, magnifying the car's personality.

This remarkable car features an array of exceptional characteristics: the innovative alliance of a technologically advanced engine, delivering 1001 horsepower, with an understated yet uncompromising silhouette reflecting the high performance capacities of state-of-the-art engineering and design, and above all, the pleasure these inspire in every Bugatti owner.

The fascination exerted by this sports coupé, capable of reaching 407 km/h, is due in large part to its unique alliance of the very finest motor-racing technology with comfortable handling for everyday driving.

The 16-cylinder "W" configuration engine is fed by four turbochargers and features 64 valves, generating 1001 horsepower at 6000 rpm. The engine draws on its 8-litre displacement to deliver a maximum torque of 1250 Newton-metres between 2200 and 5500 rpm. With full-time all-wheel drive, the car's phenomenal power produces breath-takingly dynamic handling, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.5 seconds. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 benefits from aeronautical and aerospace technologies, making it the fastest production car ever made. The car also features a braking system designed to deliver unprecedented powers of deceleration, establishing a new industry benchmark. The carbon-fibre discs provide brake pressure of up to 180 bars, combined with eight-piston monobloc callipers and titanium pistons fitted with fine steel heads and ceramic heat protectors. Apply the brakes at speeds above 200 km/h, and the rear wing acts as an airbrake, positioning itself at an angle of 113 degrees in less than 0.4 seconds, augmenting the Bugatti Veyron's already impressive stopping power. The airbrake increases negative lift at the rear of the car to 300 kg, enhancing the braking torque on the rear axle. At 400 km/h, emergency braking will bring the sports car to a complete halt in less than 10 seconds.

This, the world's most fascinating car, has pushed back the limits of physical engineering to offer a completely new sensation for driver and passenger alike. But it has also adopted a radically different stance to that of other sports cars: its features and finish are sure to impress the most demanding clientele. Hermès and designer Gabriele Pezzini have lavished attention on the interior and exterior of this exceptional car, to create the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4: the Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermès. Audi A4

Being an automatic fanatic, it’s pretty hard for us to deny commanding horsepower and torque in abundance, but at the same time we also can’t deny a car that offers that indefinable combination and decent power and fuel efficiency. The 2012 Audi A4 that we are covering here is among some of the very few entry-level sedans which offer that blend.

Just like most of the entry-level luxury sedans, the 2012 Audi A4 is also being offered with only a single engine choice, which here is a 2.0 ltr turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Now, while this seems like a strange choice considering the fact that every other rival is powered by a 6-cylinder engine, it also is a reality that the Audi A4 gets a lot from this engine choice than loosing. In actual fact, the Audi A4 with this engine succeeds in meeting and eventually even beating its base model rivals as far as fuel economy and acceleration is concerned. The nimble handling of the car also results in the balanced nature of the Audi A4, with a positive blend of comfort and sport.

The real strength of Audi A4 lies in its high-end cabin. It should be known that the cabin of Audi A4 has been equipped with class-topping materials and a controlled design aesthetic, which results in a luxuriously modern interior. Naturally a wide range of fashionable features are available either as standard or optional, including the likes of a navigation, Audi’s MMI electronics interface (though MMI with no navigation could be visceral to use) and a premium sound system. The cargo space in the car is average space that we’ve seen for its segment, but if you want more utility you can go for the handsome A4 Avant wagon.

Overall, we will say that it’s pretty apparent why we call the 2012 Audi A4 a top choice among all the entry-level luxury sedans. But at the same time we won’t deny the fact that the car has a tough competition to beat, especially even its rival has its own specialty. Some of the strong rivals for the 2012 Audi A4 offering a wide range of features and high level of driver rendezvous includes the BMW 3 Series, which pretty much defines the segment; the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which highlights flawless build quality and luxury and finally the Infiniti G sedan, offering a lot more power for a lot less money. But in case you’re looking for an artful merge of all the aforementioned assets, we’d suggest you got for the Audi A4. Read More!

2011 Koenigsegg Agera R

The Koenigsegg Agera is the best-performing Koenigsegg super car ever. Not anymore, at least since the Agera R was unveiled in the 2011 Geneva Car Show.

The Royal Family of Oman knew that ahead of time, only because they got one even before Agera R made its world debut in Geneva.

The Agera R uses a skeleton made of carbon fiber monocoque. It is very strong and lightweight. It also comes with VGR wheels that have spokes serving as turbine vanes which helps maximize the overall downward force generated by the sports car. The car in general is made up of very high quality materials befitting a car of its stature. The car is expected to cost somewhere in the vicinity of $1.6 million.

The Agera R features a 5-liter V8 powerful engine producing a mind-boggling 1,115 hp, much more powerful than the 910 hp engine of Agera. It also utilizes a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Imagine what happens when it unleashes all that power on the track.

The Agera R is being touted as the super car that can finally dethrone the Veyron Super Sport as the fastest production car in the planet. This is in spite of the fact that its engine is 100 hp less powerful than the Super Sport. This is because the Agera R is much lighter. Read More!
